Is there also a message to God's people? Romans 3:31, "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." Psalm 119: 126, "It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law."

"A time is coming when the law of God is, in a special sense, to be made void in our land. The rulers of our nation will, by legislative enactment's, enforce the Sunday law, and thus God's people be brought into great peril. When our nation, in its legislative councils, shall enact laws to bind the consciences of men in regard to their religious privileges, enforcing Sunday observance, ...the law of God will, to all intents and purposes, be made void in our land." RH Dec.18, 1888.

When the world has made void the law of God, with the enforcement of the national Sunday law, it will be time for the Lord to work, and He will bring forth His evidence. What is God's evidence?

I John 5:8,9, " And there are three that bear witness in the earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son." Psalm 85:11, "Truth shall spring out of the earth."

"Precious truths that have long been in obscurity are to be revealed in a light that will make manifest their sacred work; for God will glorify His word, that it may appear in a light in which we have never before beheld it." CSW 25.

But what will be the reaction from some of God's church?

"There is to be in the churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations, they will oppose the work. "Why," they say, "should not we know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years.?"" The Ellen G. White 1888 Materials, 765.

At the present time we cannot see any physical evidence for the discovery, watch and wait with an open mind is the advice we hear:
Acts 5:38, 39, " ...for if this... work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God: ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God."

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, if this discovery is indeed false, how then did Jesus fulfill the confirmation ceremony for the New Covenant, that Moses performed for the Old Covenant?
